Archero equipment guide

Archero has many ways to improve your chances of survival, and is one of the most complex tools. Not only are there tons of different options, many of them are viable in different ways. To help get you on the right track, we’ve put together this guide to Archero equipment including weapons, armor, rings, pets, and more!

If you are new to the game, be sure to check out some of our other guides below. Without further ado, here’s everything you’ll need to know to maximize your Archero equipment!

Archero Tool Guide: Run in Your Style

The minimum is possible to jump right to the maximum possible arcio equipment, but the differences between options are usually small. All weapons, armor, pets, and other equipment are viable, so to have the most fun with the game that you enjoy the most.

Loosely follow the guidelines below, but focus on what you like to play the best.

There is one more caveat to mention before going into tiered lists. For beginners, the best Archaeo weapons, armor, etc. are always going to be the highest rare option you have collected and leveled. The epic device gains an extra stat that usually makes them far superior to a common, great, or rare.

That way, let’s get to our Archero Equipment Guide, starting with weapons.

Best arcade weapon

Best archero weapon

The first major Archero equipment choice is your weapon. As mentioned above, all weapons are viable, and the best option for you will depend on your playstyle.

If you like to attack super fast, Jigsaw Blade will be the most fun for you. If you prefer slow attacks that deal heavy damage, try to prevent death.

Below is a simple Archaeo weapon tier list with pros and cons for each weapon. They are listed more or less in order of strength, although again, the best Archero weapon for you will depend on your luck with personal choice and drop rate.

Brightspear-High damage
-Near instant travel time
-Very easy to use
-Slow attack animation
-Weak knockback
Stalker Staff-Attacks follow targets
-Very strong with diagonal arrows
-High damage with the right abilities
-Easy to use
-Projectiles are slow
-Very reliant on abilities
-May bog down older smartphones
Death Scythe-Highest damage
-Large projectile hitbox
-Big knockback
-Very slow attack speed
-Slow projectile speed
Tornado-Built-in pierce and bouncy effects
-Large projectile hitbox
-Great early weapon
-Weak against bosses
-Can be difficult to hit
Saw Blade-Fastest attack speed
-Great with headshot ability
-Low damage
-Small projectile hitbox
-Hard to stutter step
Brave Bow-Easy to stutter step
-Fast projectiles
-Synergizes with crit builds
-Outclassed by other weapons
-Small projectile hitbox

Best Archery Armor

For armor, your best option is the quickest rarest tool you have. Once you get into the more difficult chapters, there is a clear winner, although most options are still viable depending on your playstyle.

Once upgraded to Rare, all armor gains 20% healing from the Red Heart, and they gain a unique skill in the epic. That said, base skills are usually the deciding factor for which is best. Here is a simple Archero armor level list, again listed in order of strength.

Vest of Dexterity-7% dodge makes it the clear best choice
-Lightning damage is a decent addition
Golden Chestplate-5% damage resistance moderately useful
-Flame damage is a decent addition
Phantom Cloak-10% damage reduction but only for projectiles
-Freeze only applies when hit
Void Robe-10% crash damage reduction is the least useful
-Poison damage is a decent addition

Best Archero pets/spirits

When it comes to pets (or spirits), you have a lot more freedom to choose the ones you love. You can select two, and if you have a favorite, you can equip two identical Archaeo pets, though they will be more difficult to fuse.

All Archero pets receive the same bonus in Rare and Epic, and all have the same size hitbox when blocking projectiles with Wingman ability. However, their damage will be negligible as you progress, so don’t prioritize leveling them more than weapons or armor.

Laser bat is the best Archero pet, but none bring significant damage to the table.

Without getting into a full tier list, the best Archero pet is generally agreed to be the laser bat. Not only can its attacks penetrate walls, the projectiles are nearly guaranteed to hit with a near-instant travel time. Scythe mage and elf are also viable, but the living bomb’s attacks are just too slow to provide any reliable damage.

Best Archero rings

Archero best ring

Archero rings have very little impact on gameplay, but they do provide useful boosts to help you survive or deal damage. In terms of the base stat of increasing damage, bear and falcon are the only options that work against bosses. Bosses don’t count as ranged or melee, so serpent and wolf won’t work.

Even so, these initial damage boosts are negligible compared to the flat boosts gained at rare and above. This makes the serpent ring the best option, with a potentially game-changing 7% dodge. You can also wear two of the same ring for a 14% dodge chance, which could be the difference between life and death in hectic moments.

Like the spirits listed above, leveling up Archero rings won’t make much of a difference, so you’re better off saving your coins for other upgrades.

Best Archero lockets and bracelets

The last pieces of Archero equipment you’ll unlock are lockets and bracelets. We won’t go into a full tier list for them either, but there are a few things to keep in mind once you unlock them. In terms of bracelets, the best choice for you will depend on your playstyle. The frozen bracelet provides great crowd control at higher rarities, and for raw damage the thunder bracelet is your best bet.

Both lockets and bracelets are worth leveling up whenever possible.

As for Archero lockets, the clear winner is the agile locket, which increases dodge when below 20% HP. The dodge stat is Archero’s only get-out-of-jail-free card, and it should never be underestimated.

Both lockets and bracelets are worth leveling up as soon as you have enough scrolls, as they provide always-useful boosts to max HP and attack. Locket and bracelet scrolls are quite rare though, so don’t expect to level them quickly.

That’s it for our Archero equipment guide! Hopefully you’re now fully equipped to choose the best weapon, armor, and rings for your playstyle. Any more tips or tricks about Archero equipment? Let us know in the comments below!
